At Daphine, sustainability is always on our minds – because we believe that producing pieces to treasure shouldn’t come at the expense of the planet. But we also believe that there’ll always be room for us to be better, and do better. That’s why we’re constantly looking for new ways to reduce our carbon footprint and minimise our environmental impact.
Less really is more. We’re passionate about encouraging conscious consumption – we only want our customers to buy pieces that truly bring joy. Daphine jewellery is intended to be loved for years to come, which is why we create timeless designs that can be worn season after season.
MINDFULLY MADE
We invest in the production of our jewellery so that it’s made to last. Every piece is handmade in our Jaipur atelier that is RJC certified, with real 18ct gold laid over recycled brass. This certification guarantees the origin of the gold, the living conditions of the workers and its ecological impact.
The methods we use produce a resilient layer of gold and is also hypoallergenic and nickel-free and is coated with an additional Daphine e-coating for additional tarnish resistance.

You may have noticed that we often sell out fast, or have pieces available on preorder. This is because our collections are deliberately made in limited quantities with a few drops scattered throughout the year. This greatly reduces waste and unnecessary sales, while also ensuring that you get a genuinely special product.

We will only ever partner with suppliers who share our values and treat their workers fairly and with respect. We’re very proud of the strong relationships we’ve built with our wonderful artisans in Jaipur, and we visit regularly to check on working standards. Our Jaipur atelier is Responsible Jewellery Council certified which guarantees the origin of the materials, the living conditions of the workers and the ecological impact.
THOUGHTFUL PACKAGING
Sustainability doesn’t stop at our products. We’ve taken great care to ensure that all of our packaging is made from recycled materials, is totally plastic-free, and is fully recyclable. From biodegradable mailing bags and padded envelopes to jewellery boxes and inserts made from FSC-certified 100% recycled paper.
OUR GUARANTEE
We’re committed to creating pieces that will stand the test of time. So if your plating fades, or something comes loose, we promise to repair or replate your Daphine jewellery for free within a year of purchase or receipt under standard conditions of normal wear-and-tear.
CARING FOR YOUR JEWELLERY
To make sure that they stay looking their best and can be worn again and again, it’s a good idea to show your pieces a little love. We recommend taking jewellery off while exercising, bathing, swimming or applying lotions and perfumes. Store each piece individually – preferably in its Daphine pouch – and in a cool, dry place.
