WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO WE ACCEPT ?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX) and Apple Pay. Payment will be taken from your credit or debit card as soon as the order has been placed. If you have ordered an engraved item or purchased a pre-order item, the payment will also be taken at the time of ordering.

HOW LONG DOES THE PLATING LAST FOR?

All our Daphine pieces are guaranteed for 1 year from the original purchase date (with proof of receipt). Gold plating is guaranteed during this period. Over time, plated items can fade if they are not properly cared for. Please see our care guide below for instructions on how to properly care for your pieces. 

Please let us know if you would like to re-plate an item after the 12 month guarantee period and we will provide pricing and options. 

 

IS DAPHINE A SUSTAINABLE BRAND?

We use packaging that is fully recyclable and plastic free. From our biodegradable mailing bags to our envelopes, tissue paper and jewellery boxes made from 100% recycled paper.

All of our pieces are handmade out of recycled brass in our atelier in Jaipur. We produce in low quantities so we don't have any leftover waste and we sell everything we produce, which means many times our pieces are sold out and offered as pre-order. 

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY JEWELLERY?

Our pieces are not supposed to be precious but like all things in life require love to keep them looking their very best. 

All of our gold finished pieces are plated over brass and with proper care you can extend their wear and use. We recommend removing your pieces while exercising, bathing or swimming and while putting on perfume and lotion. Make sure they are stored individually in a cool, dry place preferably in your Daphine pouch.  

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY JEWELLERY IS FAULTY?

We sincerely apologise if you have experienced any fault with your jewellery. We offer free returns on faulty goods if returned within 14 days of the initial order date. Please contact our customer service for a return label: info@shop-daphine.com

If you should need a repair on any Daphine piece, please email us at info@shop-daphine.com. Please reference your Name, Address, Order Number and Repair Issue. We will then send you a Repair Authorisation Number, which must be clearly labelled on the package. All repairs will be assessed on an individual basis.

HOW DOES ENGRAVING WORK?

We offer engraving as a way of personalising your pieces at an extra cost of £5. 

When adding a product to cart please make sure the engraving option has been selected and that you have included your desired text. 

We ask to please allow between 1 to 2 weeks from purchase for your package to be shipped.

Our default engraving style is a classic cursive font and it can range from initials, words, numbers or full sentences. If you prefer a different type of font, please let us know by contacting us via info@shop-daphine.com as well as letting us know the desired placing of your text. 

HOW DO I DETERMINE MY WRIST SIZE FOR BANGLES?

1. Measure your palm at its widest

2. Add 0.4mm

3. If the total size of your palm (including the 0.4mm) is :

    8.1 to 8.3cm, you are a size S (60mm) in our bangles.
    8.4 to 8.6cm, you are a size M (64mm) in our bangles.
    8.6 to 8.8cm, you are a size L (68mm) in our bangles. 

 

HOW DO I KNOW MY RING SIZE?

The easiest way to know your size is the measure the inside of an existing one. Once you have that size, please check the column for *Inside Diameter* to see what your corresponding UK or EU size is.
